The Opportunity

Join a high performing team shaping the future of Medibank's SAP ecosystem. As an SAP Senior Consultant, you'll be the trusted advisor driving the design, delivery, and optimisation of SAP solutions across our OSCAR environment. This is your chance to lead complex solution design, influence architectural direction, uplift team capability, and ensure our SAP systems continue to enable Medibank's strategic and operational objectives.

You'll collaborate closely with key business stakeholders, technical experts, and vendor partners to deliver high-quality, integrated SAP outcomes, while championing continuous improvement, stability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP solutions for projects and production support.
• Translate complex business requirements into high‑quality SAP functional or technical designs and corresponding documentation.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on SAP solutions.
• Oversee vendor and project design artefacts to ensure quality and alignment to Medibank standards.
• Facilitate requirements and design workshops across the business.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to internal SAP team members.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to system performance, stability, and processes.

Must haves:

• Extensive experience as an SAP Functional or Technical Consultant.
• Strong functional or technical(development) experience in SAP CRM or FS‑PM modules
• Demonstrated experience across full lifecycle complex SAP project delivery and production support, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture, configuration, and testing.
• Proven ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills with strong documentation and requirement gathering capability.
• Experience with at least three end-to-end SAP implementations across multiple industries.
• Strong analytical skills, gap analysis capability, and deep understanding of business processes.
