About the role
This is a Career Medical Officer (CMO) role within a private psychiatric facility, providing an excellent opportunity for doctors interested in pursuing a career in psychiatry. The role includes conducting admission medical assessments, supporting psychiatrists and Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) during patient assessments, participating in patient reviews and follow-up, and contributing to the multidisciplinary care of inpatients.
The position offers comprehensive exposure to psychiatric practice while maintaining core medical skills. The Medical Officer will report to the Visiting Medical Officers (VMOs) and Psychiatrists and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
About You You will be able to demonstrate your skills and clinical knowledge to manage a broad spectrum of presentations including medical, surgical and mental health patients.
Mandatory:

Highly desirable:
An understanding and ability to apply quality improvement principles in medical and mental health practice and within an accredited hospital.
