Trainees and Cert. 3 Early Childhood Educators

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Certificate III Early Childhood educators and Trainees to join our efficient and friendly team of educators  at Bright Achievers ELC, a 40 place Early Childhood Education Service. We have full-time and casual positions available, where you will make a real difference in the lives of the children in your care. We offer job security within our established early childhood environment with ongoing training and development offered to our team of educators. 

You will be responsible for planning and implementing an educational programme of developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children in our care, and maintaining a high standard of care for the group of children assigned in consultation with the ECT/Director and in collaboration with a team of educators.

Qualifications required:

• Year 10, 11 or 12 for the Trainee position.

• Certificate III in (Children’s Services) or equivalent as specified in the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulations 2018

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm

• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training, which meets requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law 2010 and Education and Care Services National Regulation 2018

• Working With Children Check Number.

Desirable:

• Current class C driver's licence

• Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations. 

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Children's Services Award 2010.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement an educational programme of appropriate learning experiences for children in your care, in collaboration with the team of educators. 

• Supervise children ensuring a consistent and safe environment for young children

• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety for children in your care

• Interact with children and families to build and maintain a friendly and family like environment at the Service

• Maintain effective communication with the team of educators, staff, families to ensure a consistent and positive approach in our environment

• Work in our early childhood educational environment according to the Service policies and procedures which prompt our practices.
