AIN / Support Worker

About the role

Relative Care is seeking several dedicated and compassionate AIN / Support Workers to join our team on a Part-time or Casual basis in Gosford or Wyong area and willing to travel north part of the Central Coast. As a valued member of our Aged & Disability Support team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients and supporting them to live independently in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

• Providing personalised in-home care and support to elderly and disabled clients

• Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

• Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events

• Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team

• Promoting client independence, dignity, and quality of life

• Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

• Available to perform sleepover shifts when needed

What we're looking for

• A current Certificate III in Individual Support or higher

• Experience working in the aged care or disability support sector, preferably in a community-based setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others

• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
