Brush Cutter (Whipper Snipper) Operator or Grounds Person

Tree Care WA is an established arboricultural company based approximately 30 minutes south of Perth. Due to continued growth, we are seeking reliable and motivated team members to join our Brush Cutting and Ground Crews.

We are looking for experienced Brush Cutter Operators and Grounds Personnel; however, applicants with the right attitude and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply, as on-the-job training can be provided.

This is a hands-on outdoor role involving a variety of brush cutting, site maintenance and ground crew duties.

Key duties include:

• Brush cutting and vegetation maintenance

• Raking and blowing down work areas

• Weed control

• General site clean-up and maintenance

• Refuelling and basic care of equipment, including brush cutters/whipper snippers and chainsaws

• Assisting with general grounds person duties

• Working effectively as part of a team

• Following directions, procedures and instructions from supervisors

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A minimum MR Truck Licence

• Reliable transport and the ability to get to Oldbury, WA for 6:00am starts

• The ability to work outdoors and undertake physically active duties

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• The ability to work well within a team and follow instructions

• Experience operating small tools and equipment such as brush cutters and blowers is highly regarded

• Previous brush cutting or grounds experience is desirable; however, on-the-job training can be provided for the right person
