Working within People & Culture, you’ll bring leadership, expertise and calm direction to a fast-paced environment while influencing service quality, compliance and continuous improvement across payroll operations. 

Your role, your impact 

Reporting to the Senior Manager P&C Operations & Payroll, you’ll lead daily payroll operations, support a small team of payroll professionals and help deliver reliable, compliant payroll services across the business. 

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing and review payroll outcomes 

• Guide and support payroll team members through coaching 

• Manage payroll queries, escalations and complex scenarios 

• Monitor compliance, audits and payroll quality checks 

• Improve processes and contribute to system enhancements 

• Foster a continuous improvement mindset within the team. 

• Partner with stakeholders to maintain payroll service standards 

What you'll need to succeed 

You’re a collaborative payroll professional who enjoys helping others succeed. You balance accuracy with great service and bring a practical approach to solving problems. 

• Experienced in end-to-end payroll processing environments 

• Strong capability in payroll legislation and compliance 

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively 

• Ability to coach, support and develop team capability 

• Experienced in payroll audits, reconciliations and reporting 

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
