All-rounder Warehouse Operator (forklift & high reach driving role)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable All-rounder Warehouse Operator to join Global Catalogue’s Manufacturing Plant in Hillsdale, NSW. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring materials, products and components are efficiently received, stored and dispatched to meet production and customer needs. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time, making it a vital part of our supply chain success. The position is based on-site at our Hillsdale facility.

What you'll be doing

• Operating forklifts and high-reach equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack and retrieve goods throughout the warehouse

• Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and other turnaround times. 

• Ensure warehouse functioning and consolidation of goods.

• Ensure that all freight is moved correctly to minimize misroutes.   

• Performing stock receiving and putaway activities, ensuring accurate placement and organisation of inventory

• Preparing orders for dispatch according to specified instructions

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely manner

• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, organisation and compliance with health and safety standards

• Operating warehouse management systems and scanning equipment to track stock movements

• Supporting team members and assisting with ad-hoc warehouse tasks as required

• Following all safety protocols and reporting any hazards or incidents immediately

What we're looking for

• Must have Current forklift license

• Must have proven experience driving High-reach

• Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution environment

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly

• Reliability and commitment to maintaining health and safety standards

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
