We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and hands-on Duty Manager to join our operations team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in leading day-to-day operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.
This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams and is passionate about providing outstanding customer service.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Club during your shift, ensuring a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for members, guests and staff.
Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Club during rostered shifts.
Provide direction, support and coaching to operational staff.
Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across all areas of the Club.
Assist with staff training, development and performance on shift.
Foster a positive team culture through effective leadership and communication.
Ensure compliance with the Gaming Machines Act, Liquor Act and all relevant legislation.
Monitor gaming operations, jackpot procedures and gaming promotions.
Ensure Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), AML/CTF and Club policies are adhered to at all times.
Complete gaming and operational compliance checks and maintain accurate records.
Respond appropriately to incidents and regulatory requirements.
Risk, Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, food safety, incident reporting and all Club policies and procedures.
Investigate operational incidents, identify risks and implement corrective actions where required.
Conduct regular operational compliance audits and inspections.
Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports for senior management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen governance and reduce organisational risk.
Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for members and guests.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
Support the successful delivery of Club promotions, tournaments, events and functions.
Build positive relationships with members, guests and visitors.
Open and close the Club in accordance with operational procedures.
Complete cash handling, reconciliations and end-of-shift reporting.
Monitor presentation, cleanliness and safety standards throughout the venue.
Assist with stock control and operational administration where required.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and incident reporting procedures.
You are an experienced hospitality supervisor or Duty Manager who enjoys leading by example and creating exceptional experiences for members and guests.
You will possess:
Previous experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.
Experience working within a licensed club, hotel or hospitality venue.
Strong knowledge of gaming operations and legislative compliance.
Sound understanding of Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG), Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), AML/CTF and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work calmly under pressure and make sound decisions.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
A flexible approach to working a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
Current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG).
Current NSW Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) (or willingness to obtain).
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Current NSW Driver Licence.
