NT-Based Contract Trainer

Expression of Interest — Subject to Successful Contract Award

Evolve Learning Institute is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Northern Territory-based trainers to deliver a proposed suite of practical workplace professional development programs over a period of 36 months.

The training is expected to cover areas such as project coordination, stakeholder engagement, workplace communication, managing competing priorities, risk and issue management, leadership, team effectiveness and business operations.

The successful trainer may deliver face-to-face workshops across the Northern Territory, live online sessions or a combination of both. The training may be conducted in the following regions, East Arnhem, Barkly, Big Rivers, Top End, Darwin, Palmerston, Litchfield, Central Australia.

About the role

You may be responsible for:

• delivering approved course content and activities;

• facilitating practical and engaging face-to-face workshops;

• delivering interactive live online training;

• explaining workplace concepts clearly and practically;

• encouraging participant discussion and involvement;

• responding appropriately to participant questions;

• adapting delivery to different participant groups;

• following approved facilitator guides and session plans;

• completing required attendance, feedback and delivery records;

• representing Evolve Learning Institute professionally.

Course materials, facilitator resources, presentations and session plans will be provided.

You will need

• a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;

• current and relevant industry experience;

• demonstrated accredited and non- accredited training facilitation experience;

• excellent verbal and written communication skills;

• confidence delivering both face-to-face and online training;

• the ability to engage participants with different levels of workplace experience;

• current residence in the Northern Territory;

• willingness to travel within the NT, including regional locations where required;

• a current Australian driver’s licence;

• access to a reliable form of transport for local delivery;

• a reliable, organised and professional approach;

• appropriate Australian working rights.

Experience delivering training to government, public-sector, regional or remote participants would be highly regarded.

Engagement and remuneration

This opportunity is subject to Evolve Learning Institute being awarded the relevant contract and receiving confirmed training requirements.

The volume, timing, location and format of delivery cannot be confirmed until the client’s final requirements are known. Delivery may be offered on an hourly, daily or other agreed basis.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on the final engagement arrangement, delivery requirements, location, volume of work and the successful applicant’s relevant qualifications and experience.
