• Salary $98,182.78 to $113,892.48 p/a (pro-rata) + super
• Job Share Opportunity: Temporary part-time position (21 hours per week) for an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension

About the role

Working across the organisation, you'll partner with leaders and teams to drive best-practice planning, performance reporting and continuous improvement. Your work will help guide Council's strategic direction, strengthen organisational performance and ensure we meet our legislative obligations while delivering meaningful outcomes for the Ku-ring-gai community.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading and enhancing Council's corporate performance planning systems to ensure they remain effective, compliant and aligned with organisational and legislative requirements
• Coordinating Council's Integrated Planning & Reporting (IP&R) framework, supporting the development of key strategic documents including the Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Operational Plan, Resourcing Strategy and Annual Report
• Partnering with teams across Council to coordinate performance reporting, provide expert advice and build capability through training and user support
• Analysing performance data and preparing reports that provide valuable insights for senior management, Council and legislative reporting
• Driving continuous improvement by working with Business Systems, TechnologyOne consultants and stakeholders to enhance processes, reporting and organisational performance

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, corporate management or a related discipline, with experience in planning, reporting or corporate performance
• Experience with corporate systems, including performance management systems, database management or systems implementation, together with strong Microsoft 365 skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a diverse organisation and deliver training or guidance where required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• An understanding of government reporting requirements, ideally with knowledge of Integrated Planning & Reporting (IP&R) in a local government environment
