We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and people-focused HR professional who loves helping people and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. If you’re someone who brings energy, attention to detail and a passion for creating positive employee experiences, you’ll be joining an inclusive, engaging and supportive People and Development team where your work will make a real difference.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Certificate IV in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• High level skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Demonstrated experience providing high-quality customer service.

It would be a bonus if you have:

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources administration.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee records and HR systems.

What you will be doing

The People and Development Administration Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the People and Development team, ensuring the efficient delivery of people services across the employee lifecycle. In this role you will:

• Coordinate recruitment administration, including advertising vacancies, drafting engaging job advertisements, preparing employment documentation, and ensuring candidates complete all required pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate mandatory compliance requirements, including Working with Children Checks, National Police Checks, licences and professional registrations.
• Manage the People and Development inbox, responding to enquiries and escalating complex matters where appropriate.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards and workforce data for managers and Executive.
