The Role
The RC Driller (Senior) plays a pivotal leadership role in the execution of high-quality drilling programs working on a 2/2 roster across MMS projects in the Goldfields.

This role requires not only technical expertise but a strong commitment to safety, respectful workplace behaviours, and collaboration with the geological team to ensure drilling meets sample quality and geological interpretation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate RC drill rigs productively in accordance with safe work instructions to drilling projects
• Ensure all drilling meets quality standards, including sample recovery, contamination control, and depth accuracy
• Provide feedback to geology teams on ground conditions, sample issues, or observed lithology during drilling
• Direct supervision of the trainee Drillers and Drilling Offsiders
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and basic troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime, escalating major issues promptly
• Maintain equipment logs, service schedules, and shift reports
• Set the standard for safety first and promote a positive team environment

About You

• HR drivers’ licence (minimum)
• 5 years RC Drilling experience (minimum)
• Hold Certificate III in Drilling Operations (or higher)
• Experience in working in remote areas 
• Schedule 26 Qualification (desirable)
• Certificate IV Training & Assessment (desirable)
