About the role
Location: VIC | State-based travel required
Contract: Fixed Term – 6 months
Start Date: Immediate
Work Model: Service-based / on-site
We’re seeking an experienced Safety & Quality Advisor to support and strengthen safety, quality and compliance practices across early learning services.
This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on observing practice, identifying risks and providing practical coaching and guidance to educators and leaders. You’ll work closely with service leadership to build capability, improve consistency and embed high standards of safety and quality.
Conduct regular service visits to assess safety, quality and safeguarding practices.
Provide hands-on coaching and practical support to educators and leaders.
Deliver training and learning opportunities to build team knowledge, confidence and capability.
Review practices and environments to identify potential risks, gaps and areas for improvement.
Provide clear, constructive feedback and practical recommendations to support stronger outcomes.
Promote consistent application of safeguarding, quality, compliance and documentation requirements.
You’re an experienced quality, safety, safeguarding, compliance, training or early childhood professional who enjoys working directly with teams to improve practice.
You will have:
ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
Current Working with Children Check.
Experience in early childhood education, safeguarding, quality, compliance or a related field.
Strong understanding of safety and quality expectations in regulated care environments.
Experience coaching, mentoring and influencing teams.
Strong risk identification and problem-solving skills.
Confidence providing constructive feedback to leaders and educators.
Experience working across multiple sites or services.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel regularly within your state.
