Advanciv, part of the ATB Morton Group of Companies, is seeking Formwork Carpenters to join our team! 

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare layouts with experience in civil pre-casting products

• Construct formwork to retain wet concrete

• Interpret drawings, read plans, and specifications to determine materials required

• Measure, cut, nail, and shape parts

• Manual handling and labouring duties

• Precast concrete formwork

• Mark and line out the formwork of the drawings

• Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed

• Assist with steel fixing when required

• Monitor formwork throughout the pours

Selection Criteria 

• Previous experience as a formwork carpenter/labourer

• Relevant trades qualifications

• Precast experience is highly desirable

• Forklift and dogging high-risk tickets are highly desirable

• The ability to multitask, problem solve, and organise, plan, and schedule activities with good time management

• Have the ability to analyse information and make appropriate decisions

• Be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Must be hands-on and complete tasks that are necessary to meet deadlines

• Hold a valid driver’s licence
