About the role

We’re looking for a Mental Health Integrated Care, Project Officer at Capital Health Network(CHN). The Project Officer will play a key role in coordinating projects focused on strategic system integration, implementation and monitoring across the mental health, suicide prevention and AOD portfolio. You will play a crucial role in delivering activities in line with the ACT Regional Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Plan and Commonwealth funding requirements.  

About the team

Reporting to Mental Health Integrated Care Manager, this role sits within the Health System Integration business unit. This business unit delivers a range of projects focused on integration and coordination across the health system and further collaborates with other business units to support and enable commissioning and capacity building across the ACT’s primary care sector.

You are a highly organised Project Officer with experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and delivery. The Project Officer will undertake research, coordinate integrated planning and support the effective delivery of project activities. They will also contribute to and understand high-level data trends, identify opportunities for improvement across key focus areas, and contribute to multi-sector approaches in the ACT. 

Work location 

This position is based in our newly renovated and modern office, located in the heart of the Belconnen town centre. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.

Position Salary: $49.73 per hour (approximately $98,582 per annum based on full-time 38 hours per week) plus superannuation  

Employment type: Fixed term full-time, until 30 June 2028. 

Working Days/hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week.
