About the Role 

As a Total Loss Claims Consultant, you'll manage total loss motor claims from start to finish, guiding our customers through what can be a stressful time with empathy and care. You'll proactively manage each claim through its lifecycle, making sound acceptance decisions whilst delivering outstanding customer service.

This is a permanent role within a supportive specialist team and is open to candidates based in NSW, VIC or QLD.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and validate reported claims, providing empathetic support, guidance and clear next steps throughout the life of each claim

• Process claims and make acceptance decisions in line with policy coverage, company procedures and industry guidelines

• Proactively maintain accurate claim reserves and manage salvage registers to reduce outstanding counts

• Identify and action potential fraudulent claims per agreed policies and procedures

• Build strong relationships with service providers and resolve complaints within agreed service levels, ensuring cost, quality and timeliness are managed

About You

• Strong knowledge of motor claims practices, products and policy interpretation, with high attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a genuine customer focus

• Sound judgement and decision making ability, even when juggling multiple tasks and competing priorities

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• A proactive, empathetic problem solver who is team and results oriented
