Purchasing Officer

12 Month Contract - Hybrid from our Alexandria, NSW office.

As Purchasing Officer, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly through smart purchasing and planning decisions. Working closely with our Sourcing team, you'll support category roadmaps and identify opportunities to continuously improve how we operate.

You'll own end-to-end purchasing and planning across Protein categories, balancing customer demand, supplier capability and operational requirements.

Success in this role means making timely, commercially sound purchasing decisions that deliver strong service outcomes, control costs and minimise waste.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end purchasing, planning, and PO execution across allocated categoriesTranslate demand requirements into accurate and timely ordering decisions across FCsPartner closely with Sourcing to align supplier capability, availability, and commercial outcomesMonitor and manage inventory, service levels, and waste performanceDrive ordering discipline, cadence, and continuous improvementIdentify risks and implement proactive supply and inventory actions
