About the role
$45.66 to $52.49 per hour + salary packaging | Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 Ballarat
Fixed-Term positions available (Part-time interest will be considered)
About the role
We are recruiting experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapists to work across our dynamic community programs, primarily in our Community Rehabilitation Service (CRC) and Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP). Both programs offer an exceptionally supportive Multidisciplinary team environment and dedicated program Team Leaders.
There may be clinical opportunites to work in other programs for the right applicant, including Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), Care Communities (Residential aged care), Home and Community Care (HACC) or Linkages (Home care Packages), depending on program requirements.
Primary clinical responsibilities include the provision of evidence-based and person-centred Occupational Therapy services to clients with a wide variety of medical conditions. You will have experience working with patients in the community setting, assistive technology/home modificaitons prescription and working with various funding bodies. Experience in supervision of student clinical placements and Grade 1 staff is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across a range of clinical settings.
Manage a varied caseload, providing tailored interventions for patients with diverse needs.
Supervise and mentor students and fellow Occupational Therapists.
Demonstrate positive and collaborative teamwork skills.
Communicate effectively and engage with key stakeholders.
