Disability Support Worker

About the role

Empowerly Care Services is seeking an experienced High Intensity Disability Support Worker to support participants with complex physical and healthcare needs.

Key responsibilities

• Personal care and daily living support

• PEG/enteral feeding

• Tracheostomy and respiratory support

• Hoisting, transfers and manual handling

• Pressure care and repositioning

• Medication assistance

• Community access and participation

• Monitoring participant wellbeing

• Completing progress notes, charts and incident documentation

• Following care plans, clinical protocols and behaviour support plans

About you

• Female preference

• Experience in disability support, preferably high-intensity/complex care

• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or equivalent

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

• First Aid & CPR

• Valid driver's licence

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Reliable, professional and confident working with complex-care participants

• Experience with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, complex manual handling or other high-intensity supports is highly regarded
