Role Description This full-time Business Analyst / Graduate Business Analyst / Junior Business Analyst role is based in Melbourne, VIC and offered on a hybrid basis, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements in partnership with stakeholders to support the forum’s programs, initiatives, and digital platforms. The successful candidate will map and review business processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to enhance efficiency and impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research and data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the design and implementation of solutions that align with organizational goals. The role also includes facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams, assisting with testing and change management, and contributing to continuous improvement of services for professional women.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.Foundational to advanced Business Analysis capabilities, such as requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.Understanding of Business Process mapping, improvement, and documentation.Ability to elicit, document, and manage Business Requirements for projects and initiatives.Bachelor’s degree (or final-year study) in Business, Commerce, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.Proficiency with common business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration platforms) and basic familiarity with data visualization or reporting tools is an advantage.Interest in gender equity, social impact, and supporting professional development for women.Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a hybrid work environment.Previous internship, placement, or junior experience in business analysis, consulting, or project support is beneficial but not mandatory.
