We believe our people are our greatest strength. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our growing team based in Norwest, supporting participants across the Hills District and Western Sydney and wider Sydney regions. 

About the Opportunity 

In this rewarding role, you will provide high quality, evidence-based speech pathology that places participants, their goals and their rights at the centre of everything you do.

Reporting to the Speech Pathology Clinical Lead and Practice Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience while working with children and adults with diverse support needs. You will contribute to meaningful outcomes that enhance participants quality of life and promote their independence and inclusion. Delivering therapy in our custom designed therapy rooms as well as natural settings such as homes, schools, workplaces and community settings.

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct comprehensive speech and communication assessments for NDIS participants. 
• Design and implement evidence-based therapy plans that promote positive outcomes and reduce barriers to communication. 
• Deliver training and guidance to families, carers and staff on implementing communication strategies and therapy plans. 
• Ensure all interventions comply with organisational policies, procedures, NDIS Code of Conduct and adheres to the SPA professional standards. 
• Develop therapy and support strategies that reflect each participant’s goals, preferences and values ensuring they have an active role in their planning. 
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with defensible documentation standards. 
• Manage workflow and ensure a positive high-performing team culture. 
• Engage effectively with participants, families and external stakeholders to ensure person-centred outcomes. 

About You 

We are seeking a passionate and proactive professional who is committed to delivering person-centred, evidence-based supports. You will demonstrate integrity, respect and accountability in your work and value collaboration and continuous learning. To be effective in this role you will require strong communication skills both written and verbal and can communicate effectively with participants, stakeholders and colleagues.  

To be successful you will have: 

• Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist status (CPSP) 
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Speech Pathologist 
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders 
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 
• A commitment to person-centred practice and positive outcomes 
• Current driver's licence and a registered and comprehensively insured vehicle for work purposes. 
• Flexibility to travel across Sydney suburbs 
• National Criminal History Check, NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check
