THE COMPANY

The Woodhouse Timber Company is an Australian-owned and established business supplying premium building products across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

Operating through an exclusive wholesale supply chain model, Woodhouse distributes products through a recognised network of building material and hardware merchants, home centre outlets, and truss and wall frame manufacturers.

Our range includes structural and decorative remanufactured plantation pine products for internal and external building projects and applications.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day administration, performance and continuous improvement of our ERP platform.

Our ERP system connects key business functions, including finance, inventory, supply chain, sales, customer service and reporting. You will ensure the platform remains secure, stable and aligned with the operational needs of the business.

Acting as the link between internal teams, system users and external implementation partners, you will translate business requirements into practical system solutions.

This role will suit someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and helping people use systems more effectively.

ERP Administration and Support

• Manage the day-to-day administration and operation of the ERP platform
• Own Tier 1 and Tier 2 support triage, ticket prioritisation and escalation
• Troubleshoot system, workflow, reporting and integration issues
• Complete root cause analysis and recommend preventative improvements
• Coordinate escalated matters with external vendors and implementation partners
• Maintain system procedures, documentation and an internal knowledge base

Security and Compliance

• Manage user onboarding, offboarding and access changes
• Maintain user roles, permissions and security structures
• Conduct periodic access reviews
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Monitor privileged access and support financial controls
• Ensure access remains appropriate, secure and compliant

Systems and Process Improvement

• Work with stakeholders to understand operational requirements
• Map business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Translate business needs into practical ERP solutions
• Analyse system usage and recommend enhancements
• Support the standardisation of processes across departments and locations
• Assist the business to maximise the value of the ERP platform

Integrations and Data Management

• Monitor and troubleshoot ERP integrations
• Maintain an understanding of upstream and downstream data flows
• Support integrations involving WMS, EDI, APIs and other platforms
• Maintain master data governance and data quality controls
• Identify and resolve data mapping and transformation issues
• Ensure data remains accurate and consistent across systems and reports

Reporting and Business Intelligence

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards and saved searches
• Develop reporting through SuiteAnalytics or similar BI tools
• Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies
• Maintain reporting accuracy, consistency and performance
• Support stakeholders with reporting and data requirements
• Improve the accessibility and usefulness of business information

Change and Release Management

• Coordinate sandbox testing and validation of system changes
• Manage controlled deployment of approved changes into production
• Complete post-release validation checks
• Support ERP upgrades, releases and impact assessments
• Test enhancements delivered by external implementation partners
• Maintain change, testing and release documentation
• Deliver user training on system changes and updates

Configuration and Customisation

• Maintain existing forms, PDFs, workflows, scripts and configurations
• Complete minor configuration and customisation updates
• Support the testing and deployment of system enhancements
• Investigate customisation issues
• Coordinate externally developed changes
• Ensure configurations and customisations are documented and controlled

Training and User Adoption

• Develop and maintain training materials, user guides and procedures
• Deliver training to new and existing system users
• Explain technical processes in clear and practical language
• Identify areas where additional training or support is required
• Promote consistent and effective ERP usage across the business

ABOUT YOU

You will be a practical and solutions-focused ERP professional who can balance technical capability with a strong understanding of business operations.

You will bring:

• Experience administering NetSuite or a similar ERP platform
• A strong understanding of ERP data structures and business processes
• Experience with saved searches, reports, dashboards or BI tools
• The ability to troubleshoot system, data and integration issues
• Experience translating business requirements into system solutions
• Strong analytical, process-mapping and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Experience providing user support and system training
• The ability to manage competing priorities and system-related projects
• A structured approach to system administration and change management
• The ability to work autonomously and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Experience in the following will be highly regarded:

• NetSuite and SuiteAnalytics
• SQL or database querying
• WMS, EDI or API integrations
• ERP implementation, migration or optimisation projects
• Financial controls and audit requirements
• Basic scripting or programming
• Managing external vendors or implementation partners
• Relevant qualifications or ERP certifications
