Forklift Operator

Cascada is growing — and we’re looking for a Forklift Operator who knows how to handle the big stuff!

Cascada manufactures precast concrete products for the infrastructure, construction and mining industries across Western Australia. We’re a growing business supplying everything from major infrastructure projects to local construction and trade customers.

We’re looking for an experienced, safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our production team at our Malaga facility.

This isn’t your typical forklift job. You’ll be handling heavy, oversized and awkward concrete products — real “UGLY FREIGHT.” If you’re confident operating a 5-tonne forklift, take pride in doing things safely and properly, and enjoy working as part of a solid team, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities. You’ll be well supported by an experienced team and provided with the equipment, training and assistance you need to succeed.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your role will include:

• Safely handling heavy precast concrete products

• Operating a 5-tonne forklift to move products around the factory and yard

• Loading and unloading delivery trucks safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading sea containers

• Moving finished products from production into the stock yard

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard

• Working closely with the production and dispatch teams to keep things moving

• Following Cascada’s safety procedures and contributing to a strong safety culture

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 year’s experience handling heavy, oversized or “ugly freight”

• Holds a current High Risk Work Licence – LF

• Has proven experience operating 5-tonne forklifts

• Has a strong commitment to safety and an excellent OH&S record

• Has a reliable, can-do attitude and strong work ethic

• Works well as part of a team

• Is comfortable working outdoors and around heavy industrial equipment

• Is flexible and willing to get involved across different areas of a busy production environment

• Can pass a pre-employment medical, including fitness, hearing and drug screening

• Has the right to work in Australia
