About The Role

The Cardiology Clinical Trial Coordinator (RN) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality, patient-centred clinical trials within the Cardiology Department at RPAH. You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of clinical trials in accordance with ICH-GCP, Study Protocols, privacy legislation, the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework, and Australian Regulatory requirements.
You will be required to effectively work and communicate with clinicians, healthcare staff, study sponsors, research staff, patients and families. The key responsibilities include all aspects of study coordination including feasibility, HREC and RGO submissions, budget negotiation, invoicing, close- out activities and archiving. You will play a key role in participant screening and recruitment, coordinating study visits, performing clinical assessments and nursing care within your scope of practice, data collection and management, maintaining study files, facilitating monitoring visits, and preparing for audits.

Ideal Candidate
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).Understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.Experience in Cardiology Nursing or Cardiology Trials will be beneficial. Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with ability to use own initiative.Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to study timelines
