Welder / Boilermaker / Fabricator

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder to complete quality installations in a modern, fast-paced, full turn-key workshop in the Greater Brisbane Area. This is an autonomous role designed for an individual passionate about industry leading safety, welding, fabrication, quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate and fit bullbars, tow hitches, windscreen stone-guards and other customer adaptations

• Grinding, finishing, and inspecting completed work

• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship

• Working safely and contributing to a positive team environment

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies

About you

• Trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator or experienced 2nd Class Welder

• Weld and fabricate steel components to AS/NZS 1554 standards

• Experience welding carbon steel and jig making (stainless and aluminium an advantage)

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings 

• Ability to work independently and unsupervised

• Self-motivated attitude and ability to think outside the box

• Honest, reliable and hardworking work ethic with a positive attitude

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential

• Commitment to workplace safety
