About the role
About the role:
The Manager, Bloodborne Virus and Sexually Transmissible Infections (BBV/STI) Policy and Programs leads the strategic direction, policy development and program delivery for the prevention and management of BBV/STIs in Victoria.
The position is responsible for managing complex policy and program functions, including funding and contract management, stakeholder partnerships, strategic planning and service system oversight. The Manager, BBV/STI will have the opportunity to develop, coordinate and implement public health strategies that draw upon evidence and local intelligence to keep Victorians safe from BBV/STIs.
Through strong leadership, collaboration and influence, this role drives continuous improvement, builds organisational capability and ensures effective delivery of initiatives that contribute to the health and wellbeing of Victorians. The successful candidate will have the ability to work across teams and flexibly respond to a range of emerging issues and evolving priorities.

About you:
Qualification/Specialist Expertise
Tertiary qualification in health, environmental health or a relevant field is desirable.
Post graduate qualifications in public health, public policy or an equivalent would be desirable.
