Kitchen Hands – Two Part-Time Positions Available

About the roles

We are seeking two reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hands to join our team at Lewrap Rhodes.

Both team members will be responsible for preparing wraps and salads, serving customers, operating the POS system, assisting with food preparation, cleaning and completing opening and closing duties. One of the two positions will also have primary responsibility for cooking meats and vegetables on a commercial flat grill.

Applicants must be available to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing wraps, salads and other menu items

• Taking customer orders and processing payments through the POS system

• Providing friendly and efficient customer service

• Managing multiple orders during busy service periods

• Preparing ingredients, including washing and chopping vegetables

• Monitoring food quality, portion sizes and stock levels

• Restocking and maintaining the grill and salad bar

• Opening and closing the store when required

• Cleaning kitchen equipment, benches and work areas

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety

• Supporting the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

• Cooking meats and vegetables on a commercial flat grill—applicable to one of the two positions

What we’re looking for

• Previous commercial flat-grill experience is essential for the position involving grill duties

• Previous experience in food preparation, customer service or POS operation is preferred

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

• Ability to manage several orders simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy

• Strong knowledge of safe food-handling and hygiene practices

• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Friendly and professional customer service skills

• Willingness to assist with all store duties as required

• Availability to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
