About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Set up, run, and monitor CNC fiber laser cutting machine to ensure optimal cut quality.
Safely handle materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium sheet metal.
Double-checking sheet thickness and job specs before starting.
Interpret job sheets, and production specs accurately.
Perform initial and ongoing quality inspections throughout the production run.
Handle basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance, promptly report any faults, and keep the workspace safe and organized.
Work closely with production manager and teammates to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
ABOUT YOU
Hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery or related CNC manufacturing machinery. (Experience with Bystronic machines preferred but not essential)
Ability to read engineering blueprints and a strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot issues.
Reliable, detail oriented and safety conscious with a positive, team focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Current Forklift license.
