About the Role  
The Technology & Facilities Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations by delivering technical support and assisting with facilities management. This position helps maintain an efficient, productive, and well-supported working environment at Master Builders Victoria. This role would suit a Level 2 Service Desk team member who is looking to step up into a Level 3 administration role. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Manage the help desk system by providing timely and professional user support and advice regarding a range of IT and business applications 
• Develop and maintain documentation associated with key tasks i.e., help sheets, training materials, and forms for new user accounts and conduct general IT inductions 
• Assist with the procurement, setup and logistics of new equipment for users and ensure they have adequate training and support to enable them to use the equipment efficiently 
• Support the Technology and Facilities Senior Manager with asset management and assist in overseeing facilities operations, including identification, storage, disposal, relocation of assets, and ongoing maintenance activities

Skills, Attributes and Experience:  

• Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience 
• Proven ability to manage an IT help desk and deliver exceptional user support  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related platforms (MS Project, Dynamics, SharePoint) 
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder communication skills
