About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, client focused Senior Accountant to join our friendly, collaborative team within our Southport office.

Your focus will be on delivering high-quality accounting and tax compliance work, while building strong client relationships and developing your technical capability.

In This Role You Will

Prepare financial statements and tax returns - individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFsManage BAS, IAS and ATO compliance obligations across your client portfolioSupport and mentor junior accountants within the teamCollaborate with clients to resolve queries and assist with tax planning activitiesManage your own workflow and deadlines within a structured team environment

About You

To be considered for the role you will have:

Relevant Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance or EconomicsCA or CPA qualification (or near completion) 3 - 5 years’ experience in public practice - Business Services focusProficiency with Accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks)Solid understanding of Australian Tax across a range of entity typesExperience mentoring or supporting junior staff (desirable)
