Team Member - Harvest Warehouse

About the role

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the Woolgoolga Warehouse by coordinating inventory, receivals, dispatch, quality control, warehouse systems and daily operational activities. The role works with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, inventory is maintained correctly, and warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, growers, transport providers, customers and warehouse personnel. As the role supports a 7-day harvest operation, applicants must be available to work weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Load/unload vehicles using a forklift or trolley jack
• Work as part of a small team across a 7-day harvest operation, including weekends
• Coordinate receival, storage, inventory control and dispatch of stock
• Assist in the coordination of daily warehouse activities and workflow
• Check the quality of fruit against specification and communicate non-conformances
• Pick customer orders
• Stock replenishment and stacking pallets correctly
• Check orders and raise discrepancies
• Coordinate storage and movement of stock within cool rooms and warehouse facilities
• Assist with stock takes and inventory reconciliation processes

About you

• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required, as part of a 7-day harvest roster – this is an essential requirement of the role
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, horticulture or food production environment is highly regarded
• Current NSW forklift licence
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Sound understanding of – or willingness to learn – quality, food safety and WHS practices in a warehouse setting
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, growers, transport providers, customers and warehouse personnel
• Physical capability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including repetitive lifting and pallet work
• A proactive, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
