Head Chef

We're seeking an experienced Head Chef to take a leading role in an exciting new premium restaurant opening. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone capable of building and developing a strong kitchen brigade while helping establish the culinary direction, standards and culture of a new operation.

Chef de Partie

We're also looking for passionate and experienced Chef de Parties to join established and growing kitchen teams. You'll work alongside experienced senior chefs in a professional environment focused on quality produce, consistency and excellent execution.

Assistant Venue Manager

For experienced front-of-house hospitality professionals, we're recruiting an Assistant Venue Manager to support the day-to-day leadership of a premium restaurant operation. This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example and creating outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

Head Chef:

• Leading kitchen operations and the opening-stage setup
• Menu development, costing and execution
• Recruiting, training and developing the kitchen brigade
• Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Labour management, stock control, ordering and food-cost management
• Driving kitchen efficiencies and operational standards
• Maintaining food safety, HACCP and WHS requirements
• Working closely with the wider venue leadership team

Chef de Partie:

• Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes
• Running and maintaining your section during service
• Working collaboratively within a professional kitchen brigade
• Supporting menu preparation and execution
• Maintaining food safety and WHS standards
• Stock rotation, waste minimisation and kitchen organisation
• Consistently delivering high standards during busy services

Assistant Venue Manager:

• Supporting daily restaurant operations
• Leading and motivating front-of-house teams
• Maintaining exceptional service and presentation standards
• Staff training, briefings and development
• Guest relations and issue resolution
• Assisting with rostering and labour management
• Stock control and operational cost management
• Supporting functions, events and special activations
• Maintaining RSA, food safety and WHS standards

About you

Head Chef:

• Previous Head Chef experience within a quality restaurant, premium dining, hotel or fine-dining environment
• Experience with premium produce, steak, seafood or open-fire cooking highly regarded

Chef de Partie:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality restaurant, hotel or premium dining environment preferred

Assistant Venue Manager:

• Experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager or similar hospitality leadership position, preferably within a premium or high-volume restaurant environment
