Little Wonders Early Learning Centre is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team of highly experienced educators within our exceeding rated long day care centre. Little Wonders ELC is a small centre located in Albion Park Rail, catering for children aged 2-5 years and operating 7:30am - 5:30pm.
Early Childhood Teacher Position
As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will work collaboratively within our team to implement our educational program practices across the service and deliver our preschool school transition program.
ECT Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement an educational program for all ages in collaboration with all educators across the team.
Assess the progress and needs of each child, monitor their progress, collaborate with centre children, families & educators in line with the approved learning framework.
Ensure a developmentally and age appropriate school readiness program is embedded throughout the daily learning experiences and environment through play.
Share your knowledge, guidance and assistance to all others educators.
Maintain a positive working relationship with the team.
Maintain effective communication with families and visitors.
Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Update centre policies and procedures
Work collaboratively with the service Director & Educational Leader.
Participate in the service Quality Improvement Plan
Engage in education excursions & incursions within the program across the year.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor of Education Early Childhood Birth - 5 years as recognised by ACECQA (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
A current Working with Children Check
National Police Check.
A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Personal commitment and enthusiasm for teaching in early years education and care environment prior to school setting.
