Disability Support Worker

Highly rewarding, Casual position available

Key aspects of the role include

• You will provide quality support to our participants in an accommodation and community setting

• Promoting participants choice and control in their daily activities

• Following behaviour support plans to support participants live more independently

• Driving participants to community events, Dr appointments, shopping etc.

• Assisting our participants to realise their goals in their NDIS plans

Our requirements

• Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 and above) and access to a car

• A good understanding of person-centred active support or willingness to embrace this model of support

• Be comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual/physical disabilities and mental health diagnoses

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

• Must live in the Newcastle and Hunter Region
