Packaging Machine Operators

About the Role

We are seeking reliable Packaging Machine Operators to join our Opal Specialty Packaging team at Orchard Hills, NSW. This hands-on role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring automated packaging equipment, including clamshell, box erecting, and window facer machines.

If you have machine operating experience, good troubleshooting skills, and a strong safety mindset, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor clamshell, box erecting, window facer, and other packaging equipment.
• Make machine adjustments, complete basic changeovers, and replenish packaging materials.
• Inspect products for quality, alignment, seal integrity, labelling, and defects.
• Perform minor troubleshooting, cleaning, and routine operational checks.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and complete daily production records.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating industrial packaging or production machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence making basic machine adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
• Basic computer skills for production logging and data entry.
