About You

• Certificate in Food Handling – desirable
• Practical understanding of catering and nutrition needs of older adults in residential care
• Ability to comply with safe work practices and food handling standards
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
• Basic kitchen knowledge and experience
• Ability to read and interpret dietary information
• Experience in aged care food service
• Knowledge and understanding of Person-Centred Care
• Familiarity with basic computer programs – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
