• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and technical documentation
• Develop drawings for roads, drainage networks, earthworks, subdivisions, and civil infrastructure projects
• Create and modify 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software
• Interpret engineering designs, survey information, specifications, and technical reports
• Assist engineers with design documentation and drafting solutions
• Prepare construction drawings, concept plans, and as-built documentation
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and project documentation records
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure drafting work complies with relevant Australian Standards, engineering guidelines, and workplace safety requirements   Qualification & experience
• Minimum Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of full-time experience as a Civil Draftsperson or similar drafting role
• Strong understanding of civil engineering drafting principles and practices
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting programs
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical plans, and survey data
• Knowledge of civil construction processes and infrastructure documentation requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
