About The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager the Environmental Scientist will collect and report data on petroleum fuel sites across Sydney.
Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited
Coordinate schedule, as well as weekly project mobilisationsGauge and sample groundwater wells, detecting any fuel contaminationAnnotate site maps and conduct site inspectionInstrument operation and maintenanceConduct well maintenance and repairsOccasional travel and remote workCompletion of chain of custody paperwork
About You
You will demonstrate a strong ability to work autonomously, alongside the following:
Full Drivers License1+ years’ experience in groundwater monitoring, environmental sampling, and equipment calibration and maintenanceHands-on experience using hand tools and environmental monitoring equipmentProven ability to work independently in the field while meeting targets and deadlinesStrong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
