Warehouse/Retail Assistant

About the role

CMA Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse/Retail Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Moorabbin, VIC 3189. This role offers the perfect opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail and consumer products operation, where you will play a key part in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and delivering excellent customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the efficiency of our business and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Organising and storing products in the warehouse using appropriate storage systems and safety procedures

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Assisting with stock takes and inventory management to maintain accurate records

• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety protocols

• Providing customer assistance on the retail floor, including product information and checkout services

• Processing sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems

• Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to professional standards

• Supporting the team during peak trading periods to ensure excellent service delivery

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse, retail or similar fast-paced environment

• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry items regularly

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A flexible attitude and willingness to undertake additional duties as required

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (preferred)

• Relevant qualifications such as a forklift licence or RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification (preferred)

• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
