Join the vibrant team at 48 Flavours! We are seeking an outgoing, organised and self-motivated Team Leader for our Magill store.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, supporting a small team and keeping things running smoothly in a busy hospitality environment.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will help oversee day-to-day store operations while ensuring every customer receives friendly and efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving gelato and assisting customers
• Leading and supporting team members during shifts
• Opening and closing the store
• Handling payments and balancing registers
• Managing stock and completing stock counts
• Preparing takeaway and online orders
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Preparing and decorating gelato cakes
• Assisting with general store operations

Cake-making experience is not required, as full training will be provided. However, you will need a genuine interest in cake decorating, good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

You will report to the Operations Manager or Store Manager and help ensure the store operates efficiently while delivering the high level of customer service 48 Flavours is known for.

• Organised and reliable: Able to manage time, prioritise tasks and take responsibility for opening and closing procedures.
• Quick on their feet: Comfortable multitasking and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative and detail-oriented: Interested in learning how to prepare and decorate our gelato cakes.
• Flexibly available: Able to work a mixture of daytime and evening shifts from Monday to Sunday, including weekends, late nights and public holidays.

Availability during the festive and summer periods is essential.

Position Details

• Casual position
• Approximately 15–30 hours per week
• Based exclusively at our Magill store
• Mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts
• Pay in accordance with the applicable Fast Food Industry Award rates
• Full training provided, including gelato cake preparation and decorating
