Attractions and Facilities Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As a Mechanical Tradesperson at Adventure World you'll join a team of like-minded and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Fitters to ensure the continuous smooth running of Western Australia's premier theme park.

If you have a high level of skill in diagnosing faults, executing preventative maintenance programs on a broad variety of plant and equipment, then we want to hear from you!

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to repair, maintain and ensure the daily functionality of all rides, attractions, plant and equipment within the park, with a strong focus on safety.

This role is PERMANENT FULL TIME with an attractive shift pattern.

We are looking for:

• Mechanical trade qualification - Cert 3 in mechanical fitting or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an equivalent trade qualified role

• Sound knowledge and understanding of preventative maintenance programs and procedures

• Exceptional attention to detail, fault finding and problem solving skills

• Ability to plan and organise work effectively

• Able to work unsupervised and independently and be able to work calmly under pressure

• Willingness to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for lengthy periods including working in noisy environments and at some work at height

• Class C motor vehicle drivers licence

It would be great if you also had……

• Experience in a high safety industry such as Aviation, Manufacturing, or of course...Theme Parks!

• Qualifications/licences for forklifts and elevated working platform (or willing to obtain as an essential)
