Customer Service Officer

About Us Chemist Warehouse Optometry is looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to provide cover during a team member’s annual leave.
About the RoleThis is a temporary 5-week contract, approximately 4 hours per day (Monday-Friday), with daily working hours. The role can be performed remotely following training.
ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer enquiries via email and website.Assist customers with orders, deliveries and general enquiries.Liaise with internal team members where required.Provide prompt, friendly and professional customer service.Escalate clinical enquiries appropriately.
QualificationsPrevious online customer service experience.
Required SkillsMust have excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong written communication, with a high standard of grammar and spelling.Exceptional attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in all work.Comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly.Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.Although not required, previous experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is advantageous.
Pay range and compensation package5-week temporary assignment. Approximately 20 hours per week.Start date: Immediately Competitive hourly rate based on experience. $35-$45/hour.Potential for longer-term role based on performance over the 5-week contract.
