Dental Technician

An exciting opportunity in our friendly dental laboratory in Box Hill has become available!

We are looking for a qualified dental technician with the following requirements:

• Holds a certificate of Diploma of Dental Technology

• Able to multitask and work efficiently

• Good time management skills

• Hard-working, pay attention to details

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to complete tasks in a fixed time period

• Relevant experience required

The role:

• Interpreting written orders and mouth impressions provided by dentists

• Placing tooth models on a device that simulates the bite and movement of patient’s jaw to access the model’s functionality.

• Crafting plaster and stoning models of mouth and teeth based on impressions

• Milling dentures, implants, crowns and bridges

• Performing crown staining and glazing

• Executing metal work, such as polishing and finishing
