The Role
We are seeking a Centre Manager to join our service and lead our team of wonderful educators. This is a fulltime position with remuneration in line with the candidate's experience. Our new Centre Manager will be confident in fostering a supportive team culture, motivate, inspire others, lead with passion, purpose and professionalism.
The successful candidate will need:
Prior experience as a Centre Manager successfully leading a service
A confident personable leadership style with experience leading and inspiring an established team of educators.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
A current and valid Working with Children Check
A current first aid CPR and emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training.
A strong understanding of regulation/legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential
Key Role Responsibilities
As the manager you are responsible for
Lead and mentor a team of educators to create a positive and collaborative performing workplace culture.
Foster strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations and centre policies.
Inspire and motivate the team through positive leadership, professional guidance.
Build on our strong team culture where educators feel valued, supported and empowered to grow professionally.
Work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve the centre’s goals and vision.
Promote open communication, professionalism and a strong sense of community throughout the service.
