Banyo Early Learning is a boutique 99 place family owned early learning centre proudly embedded within the growing Banyo community. Since opening in 2024 we have built a strong reputation for providing high-quality care and education in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for children, families and educators.

The Role

We are seeking a Centre Manager to join our service and lead our team of wonderful educators. This is a fulltime position with remuneration in line with the candidate's experience. We value teamwork, positivity and authentic leadership that brings people together. Our new Centre Manager will be confident in fostering a supportive team culture, motivate, inspire others, lead with passion, purpose and professionalism.

The successful candidate will need:

• Prior experience as a Centre Manager successfully leading a service

• A confident personable leadership style with experience leading and inspiring an established team of educators.

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

• A current and valid Working with Children Check

• A current first aid CPR and emergency asthma and anaphylaxis training.

• A strong understanding of regulation/legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential

Key Role Responsibilities 

As the manager you are responsible for

• Lead and mentor a team of educators to create a positive and  collaborative performing workplace culture.

• Foster strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations and centre policies.

• Inspire and motivate the team through positive leadership, professional guidance.

• Build on our strong team culture where educators feel valued, supported and empowered to grow professionally.

• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to achieve the centre’s goals and vision.

• Promote open communication, professionalism and a strong sense of community throughout the service.
