Instrument/Electrical Techs (Inlec) Required for October - November Shutdowns

Instrowest is seeking Instrument/Electrical technicians for upcoming projects in October - November 2026. We have some consecutive shutdowns throughout this period. Please find the details of each job below.

Some successful candidates may be employed for more than one shutdown during this period.

Option 1: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Kwinana location (Local) :

• Dates: 12th to 16th October 2026

• Kwinana location - Local position

• Shifts: Dayshift

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

Option 2: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Kwinana location (Local) :

• Dates: 08th to 24th October 2026

• Kwinana location - Local position

• Shifts: Dayshift

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

Option 3: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Kwinana location (Local) :

• Dates: 08th October to 12th November 2026

• Kwinana location - Local position

• Shifts: Dayshift & Nightshift both

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

• Nightshift rates & stand down will be paid

Option 4: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Kalgoorlie region:

• Dates: 02nd to 07th November 2026

• Kalgoorlie region

• Shifts: Dayshift & Nightshift

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

• Travel: Fly in/Fly out (Time - TBC)

• Nightshift rates and stand down will be paid

• Online inductions will be paid

Option 5: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Paterson region:

• Dates: 15th to 28th November 2026

• Paterson region

• Shifts: Dayshift & Nightshift

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

• Travel type – Fly in – Fly out (Time- TBC)

• Nightshift rates and stand down will be paid

• Travel & Online inductions will be paid

Option 6: Instrument/Electrical technicians for shutdown in Kwinana location:

• Dates: 15th to 22nd November 2026

• Kwinana location - Local position

• Shifts: Dayshift & Nightshift

• Hours: 12-hour shifts

• Nightshift rates and stand down will be paid

• Online inductions will be paid

Requirements:

• Cert III or IV Instrumentation 

• WA’s Electrical License (Restricted or A grade) 

• Working at heights (preferred not essential) 

• EWP (Preferred not essential) 

• Current LVR, CPR/First Aid  

• DAS screen test required

• Online Inductions required 

• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen prior to employment
