Nexus Traffic Australia is one of Queensland's fastest-growing traffic management companies, delivering safe, reliable and professional traffic management services across civil, construction, infrastructure and government projects.

We are looking for an experienced Operations & Safety Manager to lead our operational team and help drive the next stage of our growth.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

This is a senior leadership position requiring someone who can manage multiple projects, lead a large workforce, build strong client relationships and maintain operational excellence.

• Current Traffic Management Designer (TMD) qualification (Essential)

• Extensive experience within the traffic management industry

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

• Sound understanding of Queensland traffic management legislation and standards

• Current Driver License

• Construction Industry White Card

• Oversee the daily operations of the business

• Manage scheduling and allocation of traffic control crews

• Lead, mentor and support operational staff

• Review and approve Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and traffic management documentation

• Liaise with clients, project managers and government authorities

• Ensure compliance with all WHS legislation, TMR requirements and company procedures

• Monitor operational performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities

• Assist in business development and client retention

• Manage resourcing, fleet and equipment requirements

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Salary of $160,000 per annum + Super
