Barista - Full Time

Golden, by two well-known Melbourne hospitality brands, combines a benchmark international coffee program, a sophisticated grilled-to-order cheese toastie menu, and best-in-class soft serve.

Golden, a CBD coffee bar at 55 Collins St, is expanding to a new location at QV Melbourne and recruiting a full-time barista to join our team for opening.
Golden is all about delicious things, done well, in a fun, engaging environment. We are looking for a barista who can deliver a sleek and sophisticated coffee experience in a fast-paced environment. Whilst naturally, previous barista experience is important, exceptional customer service skills and a great work ethic are paramount.
With an established coffee and coffee-beverage program in place, we are recruiting for a barista who can use their creativity to build on our coffee-beverage program, in part, incorporating our soon-to-be-launched soft serve, exclusive to our QV store. As part of a broader hospitality group, this is a real opportunity for a barista who wants to be a part of something genuinely new and exciting!
Golden QV will be open 7 days a week from 7 am, and whilst there is some roster flexibility, full availability is preferable, including weekends. Initial training would be conducted at our Collins St location until the QV opening in October.

Passionate about great food, coffee, and working as part of a team
Previous barista experience in a fast-paced cafe environment
Exceptionally organised and committed to the highest of standards, a natural leader
An excellent and effective communicator, especially when under pressure
Have full-time availability and working rights
