Costumer Service & Fleet Coordinator

About the Role

CUSTOMER SERVICE & FLEET COORDINATION.

We're a family-owned rental car business operating in the Sunshine Coast tourism industry, and we're looking for a reliable, confident and customer-focused person to join our team.

This is a hands-on role combining customer service, rental operations and fleet coordination. You'll be helping customers, managing bookings and making sure our vehicles are where they need to be, when they need to be there.

THE ROLE

• Welcoming customers and delivering a professional, friendly rental experience
• Managing bookings, customer enquiries and vehicle availability
• Coordinating vehicle movements between our locations
• Driving and relocating vehicles safely and efficiently
• Preparing vehicles for customer collection and assisting with fleet presentation
• Providing customers with information about our vehicles, rental services and policies
• Handling customer questions and resolving issues professionally
• Monitoring vehicle movements, availability and operational requirements
• Working closely with the team to keep the daily operation running smoothly
• Assisting with general fleet and branch duties as required

ABOUT YOU

• Confident, friendly and professional when dealing with customers
• A confident and capable driver with a current unrestricted/open driver's licence
• Comfortable driving a range of vehicles
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual and willing to get involved
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• A strong communicator with good attention to detail
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player
• Available to work a 4 days on / 4 days off rotating roster, including some weekends

Experience in car rental, fleet management, tourism, hospitality or customer service is an advantage, but not essential.

We can teach you our systems and processes. What we're looking for is the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

DESIRABLE (but not essential)

• Previous fleet management or automotive industry experience
• Familiarity with booking or rental management systems
• Mechanical knowledge or interest in vehicles
