About the Role

Red Shed is looking for an experienced Industrial Sales Representative to join our team in Emerald.

This role is suited to someone with experience in industrial, trade, mining, automotive, or similar environments who understands the importance of practical advice, accurate information, and reliable service.

You’ll work with customers to help source the right products and solutions, including tools, PPE, consumables, spare parts, and industrial supplies that help keep their operations moving.

This is a hands-on role where you will work across sales and day-to-day operations, including assisting with warehouse activities when required to support customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection, enquiries, and solutions.
• Prepare quotes and process customer orders.
• Source products and alternatives to meet customer requirements.
• Follow up enquiries and maintain customer relationships.
• Coordinate orders with suppliers and customers.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
• Support warehouse activities when required to ensure orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.

About You

We’re looking for someone who understands industrial customers and enjoys providing practical solutions.

You’ll ideally have experience in:

• Industrial supplies, mining, trade, automotive, or parts environments.
• Wholesale, internal sales, trade sales, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Tools, PPE, consumables, spare parts, or technical products.

You will also have:

• Confidence dealing with trade, industrial, and commercial customers.
• Strong attention to detail with quotes, orders, and follow-up.
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
• The ability to manage enquiries through to completion.
• Confidence using computer systems.

Pay: $27.43 – $33.51 per hour

Experience:

• Background in trade sales, internal sales, parts supply: 2 years (Preferred)
• Knowledge in tools, PPE, parts or industrial products: 2 years (Preferred)
