Technical Service Officer - Warranty

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Service Officer to provide warranty support in all facets of technical customer support through to the management and administration of enquiries to ensure customers' expectations are fulfilled. The role is full time is based on site at our office in Dandenong South.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and communicate Pentair’s product warranty information

• Timely data entry of service jobs into the warranty system

• Assist Customers and Service Agents with phone and email queries

• Follow up open warranty jobs to completion

• SAP warranty order Management

• Maintain updates of internal & external contact records

• Raise improvement opportunities on identified repeating issues that require corrective action

• Direct service contractors, when required

• To assist in product testing/fault finding

• Resource scheduling of field technicians

• First level for processing Service Agent invoices ensuring charges are in line with contract rates and warranty schedules

• Carry out feedback survey of customers

Qualification/Experience

• Previous experience within the pool or pump industry and or / a technical aptitude

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical customer service role

• Previous experience providing a high level, over the phone customer service

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding of ACCC Consumer Guarantee preferred

• High attention to detail

• The ability to prioritize

• Experience with SAP preferred

• Microsoft office – Word, Excel & Outlook
